About: We're looking for a skilled decorator to join a leading housing and property services organisation. In this role, you'll deliver high-quality decoration and tiling work across residential properties, ensuring every job meets the highest standards and leaves customers delighted.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out decoration and tiling works efficiently and to specification.
- Treat mould and damp, and complete minor repairs to walls and timber frames.
- Manage your own workload and attend scheduled appointments on time.
- Maintain excellent communication with the scheduling team and customers.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, including risk assessments and safe working practices.
- Use smart technology to record job progress, timesheets, and material usage.
What We're Looking For:
- City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 in Painting & Decorating or Tiling (or equivalent experience).
- Previous experience in decoration and tiling, ideally within housing or property maintenance.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to use smartphones/tablets for job updates.
This role is subject to a basic DBS check.
What you'll need to succeed:
You will be an experienced decorator who has worked on Damp and Mould properties. You will have experience with mould treatments, ventilation surveys and general decorating. We're looking for someone who communicates clearly and regularly with customers, always aiming to go above and beyond to impress them with the quality of our service.
