Hays Senior Finance are recruiting for a Finance Transformation Manager to join a well-established organisation based in Swansea on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Reporting to the Head of Finance, this is a key role supporting a significant period of finance transformation and process improvement across the organisation. This hybrid opportunity offers the chance to lead business-critical change initiatives, improve financial reporting and planning processes, enhance management information, and drive efficiencies across the finance function. Working closely with finance and operational stakeholders, you will help deliver lasting improvements to systems, controls, reporting and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead finance transformation and continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation.
  • Review, redesign and enhance financial processes, controls and reporting frameworks.
  • Drive improvements to budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to improve financial insight and support strategic decision-making.
  • Develop KPI reporting, dashboards and management information.
  • Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve efficiency across the finance function.
  • Improve data quality, governance and reporting accuracy.
  • Deliver training and support to stakeholders on new processes and ways of working.

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified, part-qualified or actively studying towards a professional accounting qualification.
  • Experience operating at a senior finance business partnering level.
  • Proven experience delivering finance transformation, systems change or process improvement projects.
  • Strong experience working with finance systems and reporting tools.
  • Advanced data analysis and reporting skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • A proactive approach with a passion for driving change and improving business performance.
