Are you passionate about making a positive and lasting difference to children and young people? We are currently recruiting for multiple positions in the children's services sector for a client known for their innovative and agile approach.
Our client is seeking Social Workers, Senior Social Workers, and a Team Manager for a 9-month period to help shape practice within a welcoming team committed to doing the right thing for children and young people. This is part of their transformation programme aimed at implementing a needs-led and conversational model.
- Receive and take referrals directly from members of the public, partners, and agencies.
- Utilise professional curiosity to understand the needs, risks, vulnerabilities, and protective factors experienced by children and young people.
- Work within a MASH/Screening Team, understanding thresholds, analysing information from various sources, undertaking risk assessments, and completing safety plans.
- Ensure children receive the appropriate level of service/help at the right time.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Experience and expertise in taking and responding to referrals to children’s services.
- Ability to work at pace and analyse information from multiple sources to inform plans.
- Must have Social Work Degree or equivalent qualification.
- Must be registered with Social Work England.
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of post-qualifying experience within a permanent position.
