Your new company This supported housing provider has a mission to provide high quality, safe and sustainable housing for people with dual diagnostic needs. They emphasise dignity, respect and empowerment for tenants, aiming to help individuals achieve independence and stability. Their properties span within the West Midlands and North West of England to where they are currently seeking a Housing Support Worker on a 3 month temporary basis. Your new role As a support worker, you\’ll provide support to customers in our properties. You will have your own caseload of customers and will work with them on a one-to-one basis. You will identify their needs by listening to them and developing a support plan which is achievable and realistic for them. You will work with other statutory and non-statutory agencies to provide holistic support tailored around the customer\’s support plan. What you\’ll need to succeed The successful Support Worker will have sound housing support experience and knowledge, with the ability to identify customers needs by listening to and developing a support plan which is achievable for them. You will also have prior experience of offering advice, guidance and signposting and supporting the customer by accessing the communities. What you\’ll get in return This is a 3-month temporary opportunity, offering a minimum of £13.68 per hour.
