Your new role

  • Support individuals in the criminal justice system. Work with people referred through prison link pathways, courts, probation, and police partners to help them engage with treatment and recovery services.
  • Provide tailored interventions. Deliver one-to-one key-work sessions, facilitate group programmes, and create personalised recovery plans.
  • Conduct assessments and case management. Carry out screening, risk assessments, and recovery planning, ensuring continuity of care and safeguarding responsibilities.
  • Reduce harm and promote recovery. Focus on reducing drug and alcohol-related harm, supporting social reintegration, and enabling individuals to lead meaningful lives.
  • Partnership and liaison work. Collaborate with external agencies such as police, probation, courts, prisons, housing, and social care to coordinate support and resettlement plans.
  • Advocacy and safeguarding. Advocate for service users to access necessary services and ensure compliance with safeguarding policies for children and adults.
  • Record keeping and compliance. Maintain accurate records, adhere to equality and diversity policies, and follow information governance standards.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Must have worked with clients from a criminal justice background
  • Must be available within a 2-week notice period
  • Must have an enhanced DBS on the update service.
