Your new company Our client is a new organisation dedicated to providing high-quality care and support to children in a residential setting. They pride themselves on fostering a positive environment that encourages personal growth and development. The team is passionate about making a difference in the lives of their residents and is committed to maintaining therapeutic principles. They currently have 5 children\’s residential homes up and running, and have a load more that they are looking to get up and running within the next 18 months. Your new role As a Support Residential Care Worker, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the home and the delivery of care to the children. You will lead a team of care staff, ensuring safe and appropriate practices are maintained. Your responsibilities will include supporting the manager in operational management, maintaining a positive childcare practice, and developing care plans for individual residents. What you\’ll need to succeed Our client is looking for someone who has strong experience within Children\’s Residential Care, with an eye to developing and moving up the ladder within the organisation. They are also looking for someone who has: Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage diverse groups. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
