Oxfordshire County Council is seeking an experienced Assistant Team Manager (ATM) to join the Family Solutions Plus (FSP) Team. This is a fantastic locum opportunity for a motivated and knowledgeable practitioner who is passionate about safeguarding and supporting children, young people, and families.
As ATM, you'll support the delivery of high‑quality social care practice with no case‑holding responsibilities, providing supervision and oversight across complex safeguarding and long‑term work.
- No case-holding
- Hybrid working: Minimum 2 office days (Thursday required)
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm (4pm finish on Fridays)
- Location: Didcot & Henley Family Solutions Plus Team
- Contract: 3 months, full time (37 hours)
You’ll be a confident and reflective practitioner with the ability to support and guide social workers within a busy FSP environment. Strong communication skills, effective decision‑making, and a commitment to high standards of practice are essential.
- Minimum 3 years' post‑qualification experience
