We are recruiting for an experienced and commercially minded Finance Leader to join a successful and growing business based in West Wales. Reporting into the senior leadership team, this is a key strategic role offering the opportunity to influence business performance, support growth plans and lead the ongoing development of the finance function.
As Finance Leader, you will manage a finance team of four and take ownership of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and business partnering activities. Working closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation, you will provide meaningful financial insight, support strategic decision-making and help drive continuous improvement across the business.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, mentor and develop a finance team of four.
- Act as a trusted financial partner to senior leaders across the business.
- Oversee monthly management accounts and financial reporting.
- Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
- Deliver meaningful financial analysis and commentary to support strategic decision-making.
- Develop financial models, business cases and ROI analysis for new projects and investments.
- Drive continuous improvement and automation across finance processes.
- Manage month-end activities and external audit relationships.
- Support long-term growth plans and resource allocation decisions.
- Work closely with senior leadership as part of the wider management team.
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
- Previous experience in a senior finance leadership position.
- Strong commercial and business partnering skills.
- Experience leading and developing finance teams.
- Strong forecasting, budgeting and management reporting experience.
- Advanced analytical and financial modelling capability.
- Experience working with finance systems, reporting tools and process improvement initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience within manufacturing, engineering or other product-led environments would be advantageous.
