Interim Accounts AssistantLocation: Yeovil Pay: Up to £22.10 per hour Duration: Up to 12 months Working pattern: 5 days per week onsite Start: ASAP The opportunityWe are working with an established and growing international business in Yeovil that is looking to appoint an Interim Accounts Assistant to support its finance function.This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys transactional finance, working with data and ensuring accounts are accurate and up to date. Key responsibilities Supporting both accounts payable and accounts receivable Processing and reconciling supplier and customer invoices Carrying out three-way matching Maintaining accurate financial records and data Completing high-volume finance data entry Investigating and resolving invoice discrepancies Supporting reconciliations across AP and AR Assisting with wider finance and project accounting activities Using Excel to manage and review financial information Providing general support to the wider finance function What we're looking forIdeally, you will have: Previous experience within an Accounts Assistant or similar finance role Good AP and AR experience AAT qualified or part-qualified, ideally Strong reconciliation skills Good Excel knowledge High attention to detail and confident data-entry skills Sage 50 experience would be highly advantageous Project accounting experience would be beneficial A genuine interest in developing your career within finance Due to the nature of the position, you will need to be comfortable working onsite in Yeovil five days per week. What's on offer?
