Management Accountant in Taunton

Your new company Hays are partnering with a rapidly growing organisation based in Taunton to recruit a Management Accountant. The business is undergoing an exciting period of organic and acquisitive growth and is investing heavily in its finance function, systems and processes, including a significant ERP implementation programme. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, this is a fantastic opportunity for a recently qualified accountant looking to make their first move from practice into industry. Your new role This is a broad and commercially focused role that will give you exposure across management accounting, business partnering, financial analysis and transformation projects. Key responsibilities will include: Preparation of monthly management accounts Balance sheet reconciliations and month-end reporting Ownership of the fixed asset register and associated accounting Budgeting and forecasting support Financial analysis and performance reporting Business partnering with operational stakeholders across the business Supporting the ongoing ERP implementation and systems development Identifying process improvements and strengthening financial controls Assisting with year-end reporting and audit requirements Supporting integration activities linked to future acquisitions This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop into a future Finance Business Partner, Financial Controller or Finance Manager as the organisation continues to grow. What you'll need to succeed ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (This role is perfectly suited to a first-time mover from practice or an accountant in the early stages of their industry career).
