Credit Controller in Stratford-upon-Avon

Your new company Hays are delighted to be supporting a high-growth SME business based in Warwickshire just outside Stratford-upon-Avon. Your new role You'll take ownership of an allocated sales ledger, proactively managing outstanding debt, improving cash collection and building strong relationships with a varied customer base. Managing an allocated sales ledger and aged debt Proactively collecting outstanding balances by phone, email and customer portals Investigating and resolving invoice and account queries Completing account reconciliations Identifying potential bad debt risks and escalating where appropriate Working closely with internal teams and external customers to ensure timely payment What you'll need to succeed Previous B2B Credit Control experience Strong cash collection and aged debt management skills Confident communication and negotiation skills Good Excel and reconciliation experience Experience dealing with larger corporate customers Customer billing/payment portal experience would be advantageousWhat you'll get in return This is a great opportunity to join a growing business where you can make a genuine impact on cashflow and become a key part of the finance team.Salary: £28,000-£30,000 depending on experience + company benefits.
