Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Senior or Client Manager to join their successful team. The Opportunity This is a varied and client-facing role that offers a genuine chance to become a trusted adviser rather than simply producing year-end accounts. You'll manage your own portfolio of clients, build lasting relationships and work closely with business owners across a wide range of sectors.Alongside managing client work, you'll play an active role in supporting the wider team, helping to coordinate workflow and contributing to the firm's continued success.No two days are the same, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, autonomy and developing meaningful client relationships. Key Responsibilities Managing a diverse portfolio of clients and acting as their primary point of contact. Building strong, long-term relationships while providing proactive support and advice. Preparing and reviewing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. Producing personal and corporate tax computations and returns. Reviewing bookkeeping records and VAT returns. Managing deadlines and ensuring an exceptional level of client service. Supporting junior team members through coaching and mentoring. Assisting with advisory projects and providing value-added business support to clients. Working closely with partners and managers on a variety of ad hoc assignments. About You You will have gained strong experience within accountancy practice and be confident managing your own client portfolio with minimal supervision.You'll enjoy building client relationships, solving problems and taking ownership of your work, while also contributing positively to a collaborative team environment. Ideally, you'll have: 5+ years' experience working within an accountancy practice. ACA or ACCA qualification Strong accounts preparation and tax compliance experience. Experience managing client relationships and a varied portfolio. Excellent communication and organisational skills. A proactive and professional approach with a genuine focus on client service. Experience with Xero, QuickBooks or Dext would be advantageous, although training can be provided. What's in it for You?
