I am currently supporting a global leader within the engineering sector, in the search for a Senior Group Accountant to join their growing Group Finance function. This is an outstanding opportunity for a technically strong qualified accountant looking to take ownership of a complex multinational consolidation process within a fast-paced, PE-backed environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Group consolidation process and month-end close activities
- Review and oversee the work of the Group Accountant
- Own consolidation eliminations, intercompany balances and Group recharges
- Act as the Group SME for OneStream consolidation software
- Partner with Treasury, Tax, FP
- Drive financial control improvements and process efficiencies
- Support investor reporting, lender reporting and external audit requirements
- Provide technical accounting expertise across IFRS, UK GAAP and US GAAP matters
About You:
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (or equivalent)
- Strong technical accounting background
- Previous consolidation experience within industry or practice
- Experience with IFRS reporting
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Comfortable operating within a complex international organisation
Desirable Experience:
- OneStream or similar consolidation software experience
