A large organisation is undertaking a major finance transformation programme to modernise its financial processes, systems and operating model. As part of this significant change initiative, they are seeking an experienced finance professional to support the design and implementation of a new Project Accounting framework within a complex and evolving environment.
As the ERP Finance Process Lead, you will play a key role in shaping the future Project Accounting model, working closely with finance leaders, subject matter experts, programme teams and business change colleagues. You will provide specialist expertise to support ERP design decisions across project accounting processes, including project ledgers, budgeting, forecasting, income recognition, reporting, controls and data requirements.
You will translate business requirements into practical finance process and system designs, assess the impact of proposed changes on people, processes and data, and help define readiness, training and adoption requirements. In addition, you will identify risks, resolve design issues, support testing activities and contribute to stakeholder engagement and communications throughout the programme lifecycle.
What you'll need to succeed:
- You will hold a recognised accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) and possess significant experience within project accounting, programme finance, ERP implementation or finance transformation environments.
- Strong technical knowledge of project accounting, project ledger management and programme finance processes.
- Experience supporting ERP, finance systems or finance transformation programmes.
- The ability to translate business requirements into process, data, control and system design solutions.
- Experience conducting impact assessments and supporting organisational readiness, training and change activities.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A proactive approach to identifying risks, resolving issues and driving continuous improvement.

- Daily rate between Β£500 - Β£600 Inside IR35.
