Hays Senior Finance are delighted to be partnering with a highly successful and growing professional services organisation based in Leeds to recruit a commercially focused Finance Business Partner / Commercial Finance Manager. This is a rare opportunity to join a well-established business operating within a specialist environment, supporting senior leadership in driving commercial performance, strategic decision-making and continued growth.
Working closely with the Directors and wider leadership team, you will play a key role in providing financial insight, improving commercial reporting, supporting business planning and helping shape the future direction of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with senior stakeholders across the business to support strategic decision-making
- Produce meaningful financial analysis and commercial insights
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and business planning activities
- Develop and enhance KPI reporting and management information
- Support contract profitability and project performance reviews
- Drive process improvements and financial controls
- Assist with longer-term business growth initiatives and commercial projects
- Support and challenge operational leaders to maximise business performance
What you'll need to succeed
- Fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills
- Commercially focused with the ability to influence senior decision-makers
- Excellent analytical and financial modelling capabilities
- Experience gained within professional services, construction, project-based or commercially driven environments would be advantageous
- Ambitious, proactive and able to operate in a fast-paced environment
