Your new company A leading professional services firm is looking to appoint a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager to join its growing tax team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a varied client portfolio ranging from entrepreneurial and privately owned businesses through to large corporate groups, whilst developing your technical and commercial expertise in a supportive and collaborative environment. Your new role Working as part ofan established tax team, you will support the delivery of both compliance andadvisory services to a broad range of clients across multiple sectors. Key responsibilities will include: Managing a portfolio of corporate tax clients, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality service. Supporting the delivery of tax advisory projects and providing practical solutions to clients. Managing client engagements, including planning, billing and monitoring profitability. Building and maintaining strong client relationships while identifying opportunities for additional services. Reviewing work and supporting the development of junior team members. Working closely with senior managers, directors and partners on a range of complex assignments. Ensuring compliance with internal quality and risk management procedures. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will be ACA, ACCA or CTA qualified, or possess equivalent experience. You will also demonstrate: Experience managing a portfolio of corporate tax clients. Strong technical corporate tax knowledge. Experience delivering complex tax projects. Excellent communication and relationship management skills. The ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities. Experience supporting or mentoring junior colleagues.
