A highly regarded Kingston-based employer is recruiting a Financial Analyst on a 12‑month contract. This employer of choice has an excellent reputation for staff retention, career development and flexible working. Based in smart corporate offices, they offer on-site parking and are easily accessible from the train station. You will join a friendly, professional team and report directly to the Commercial Finance Manager.
This is a key position, integral to supporting the organisation and driving financial strategy. You will analyse key financial data and trends, providing insight to support both short‑term and long‑term decision making. You will business partner with key stakeholders, take ownership of revenue and the revenue model, and support the Head of FP&A with the five‑year plan. You will also be responsible for management accounting, month‑end processes, budgeting and forecasting. Additional duties include assisting the Head of FP&A with the management reporting pack and overseeing the month‑end process. You will lead a team of two, providing guidance and expertise to two trainee accountants.
You will be a qualified or part‑qualified (ACCA or CIMA) Financial Analyst or Finance Business Partner. You will have strong management accounting, month‑end and financial analysis experience. Advanced Excel skills are essential, including the ability to work with large data sets and build complex pivot tables. You will demonstrate the desire and capability to manage people, along with excellent communication and problem‑solving skills. The ability to build strong relationships and present financial information confidently to key stakeholders is essential.
