Your new role Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will support a range of group finance and transformation activities, helping to enhance reporting processes, strengthen controls and deliver meaningful financial insight across the business. Key responsibilities will include: Analysing and interpreting large, complex financial datasets using advanced Excel and finance systems. Supporting finance transformation projects, including process redesign, control enhancements and accounting policy improvements. Identifying opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, governance and internal controls. Delivering robust reconciliations across multiple entities, systems and reporting cycles. Providing insightful financial analysis to support decision-making for senior finance stakeholders. Partnering with teams across the business to embed best-practice finance processes. Performing detailed balance sheet reviews, account reconciliations and investigative analysis. Supporting compliance with accounting standards, internal policies and audit requirements. What you'll need to succeed ACA-qualified, ideally practice trained. Previous experience operating within an industry-based finance function. Strong technical accounting and reconciliation expertise. Advanced Excel and data analysis capabilities. Proven ability to work independently whilst engaging effectively with stakeholders across the business. A proactive, hands-on approach with the drive to deliver high-quality work to tight deadlines. Experience supporting finance transformation, process improvement or change initiatives would be highly advantageous.
