  • Completing bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Preparing and submitting VAT returns.

  • Ensuring compliance with HMRC deadlines and statutory requirements.
  • Building strong client relationships and acting as a trusted point of contact.
  • Using cloud-based accounting systems including Xero and Sage.

This role offers the opportunity to work across a wide range of businesses, giving you exposure to different industries and the chance to play a key role in helping clients achieve their goals.

To be successful in this role, you will have proven bookkeeping experience and enjoy building relationships with a variety of clients. You will ideally have:

  • AAT qualification or be qualified by experience.
  • At least three years' experience in a bookkeeping position.
  • Experience using accounting software such as Xero and Sage.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to work directly with clients.
  • Good commercial awareness and the ability to explain financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
  • The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a wider team environment.

What you’ll get in return:

  • Competitive salary dependent on experience.
  • Flexible hybrid working arrangements.
  • The opportunity to manage your own client portfolio.
  • Exposure to a diverse range of businesses and industries.
  • A supportive and collaborative team culture.
  • Ongoing training and professional development.
  • Modern systems, technology and equipment provided.
  • Regular team events and a positive working environment.
