The Hays senior finance interim & contracts team are recruiting for an urgent 4-6-month interim opportunity for a high-growth SME based in Central Bath, requiring an experienced, hands-on Interim Head of Finance/ Management Accountant to step in at pace.

This is a number one in finance role, reporting directly to the COO, with full ownership across the finance function during a period of transition for the business.

The role:

  • End-to-end ownership of finance - BAU, reporting, controls
  • Deliver timely month-end, MI and cash insights
  • Support the business through a period of change and uncertainty
  • Work closely with senior leadership on financial performance

The set-up:

  • 4-6 months (with immediate start)
  • 3 days on site (Tues-Thurs), 2 days from home
  • Handover with outgoing Head of Finance in June
  • Interviews taking place as soon as Monday

About you:

  • Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong post-qualified industry experience
  • Proven experience in SME / scale-up environments
  • Hands-on, adaptable and able to operate as a standalone finance lead
