We're partnering with a highly regarded organisation in Bath that is seeking an experienced Interim Technical Accountant / Group Reporting Accountant to support the finance team during a particularly busy period. The Opportunity
Working closely with the Group Reporting Lead, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting while supporting a range of technical accounting and statutory reporting activities. Key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing monthly and year-end group consolidations
- Supporting statutory accounts preparation and reporting requirements
- Providing technical accounting expertise, particularly around IFRS
- Assisting with year-end audit processes and external audit queries
- Working collaboratively with finance teams across multiple business units
- Supporting ad hoc reporting, analysis and finance projects as required
About You
We're looking for a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA preferred) with:
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and IFRS expertise
- Previous group reporting and consolidation experience
- Experience supporting statutory reporting and audit processes
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- The ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment
