Your new company
You will be joining a well established organisation recognised for its commitment to fairness, inclusion and supporting colleagues to succeed. The business operates a hybrid working model, with this position based in the Bristol office for a minimum of three days per week. Certain remote arrangements may continue where linked to formal accommodations, redeployment or previous office closures.
Your new role
As an Accountant, you will play a central role in the month end close process. You will prepare journals, complete a range of accounting activities across intercompany, fixed assets, cash management and balance sheet reconciliations, and review transaction processing completed by offshore colleagues. You will also support the integrity of the P to date ways of working.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Experience working within an accounting function, ideally within a large and complex business
- Strong Excel skills with experience preparing reports, journal calculations and reconciliations
- High attention to detail, strong analytical skills and excellent organisational ability
- Confidence communicating with a range of stakeholders across finance, audit and operational teams
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently under strict month end deadlines
