My client, a respected local authority in Hertfordshire, is seeking an experienced Principal Development Management Planner to join their team on an interim basis. This is a brilliant opportunity to work on a diverse and high-profile caseload within a predominantly urban setting.
Key Responsibilities:

- Manage applications on allocated sites and windfall sites, with a strong focus on brownfield land (no greenbelt).
- Provide expert planning advice to applicants, stakeholders, and internal teams.
Requirements:
- Substantial experience at Principal Planner level within a UK local authority.
- Demonstrable expertise in handling complex planning applications.
- In-depth knowledge of UK planning legislation and policy.
