A unique opportunity has arisen to join a forward-thinking council within their Planning and Building Control department as a Major Projects Officer. The role is a Monday-Friday, 6-month contract, Outside IR35, with Hybrid working in Nottinghamshire.
As a Major Projects Officer, you will:
- Manage and oversee major planning applications, ensuring high-quality developments that benefit the local economy, environment, and community.
- Lead on Section 106 agreements, negotiating contributions toward affordable housing, public spaces, and transportation improvements.
- Represent the council at planning appeals, hearings, and tribunals.
