Your new company is an industry-leading construction company delivering innovative and sustainable solutions across multiple sectors, including commercial buildings, infrastructure, transportation, energy, and healthcare. Its services span construction, civil engineering, property development, facilities management, and specialist engineering disciplines such as piling, foundations, and ground engineering.
Your new role involves supporting the Environment Consultancy Team Lead and working within their own specialisms. You will deliver high quality consultancy for given deliverables within projects, maintain and increase the team's knowledge of key environmental standards, policies, and legislation, and deliver projects in Carbon and Air Quality including weather data analysis. Collaboration with environmental and engineering specialists to improve the environmental performance on projects is essential.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- A relevant degree within Environmental Management, Sustainability, or equivalent.
- Sustainability knowledge, with over 3 years’ experience in the field.
- Achieved or demonstrably working towards Chartered Environmental Status and membership of IEMA, IES or similar.
- Experience of environmental data management and analysis tools.
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant environmental regulations and policies (preferred).
- Ability to self-manage.
- A strong focus on self-improvement, personal development, and learning.
- Strong written and oral communication and presenting skills.
- Experience in carbon footprinting and/or carbon strategy.
- Experience in Air Quality and Weather data.
