Credit Control Team Leader
Permanent & Full Time
Carmarthenshire
£30-35,000 per annum
Do you have a proven track record of debt management, a good commercial understanding of accounts receivable and cash management, as well as a reputation for inspiring and motivating a team? If so, this role could be for you! Leading from the front, you will supervise a small team to deliver the very best combination of credit control and customer service to a nationwide customer base. Your role will require you to manage the team’s performance against targets and professional development while taking an active and hands-on role in recovering outstanding debt, and reducing financial risk. You will be highly proactive; building good positive and professional relationships with key customers; using all lines of communication from emails and telephone calls, even site visits, to secure a loyal customer base while protecting company interests. You will review credit limits in line with company procedures, prepare aged debt reports for submission to the board, provide management support for the
wider accounts receivable function, and manage the legal process for debt recovery with the support of external legal and credit insurance representatives.
This role requires you to have robust and in-depth knowledge and experience of the debt management process, either from a team leader role or alternatively as a stand-alone credit controller (managing a process rather than a team)……. but in order to be considered for this role, experience of line management is ESSENTIAL. So if your team leading skills were gained outside the credit control process, but still within an office environment (ideally finance), don’t hesitate to give me a call or put your CV forward for submission.
