I am recruiting for a well-known global retailer that is looking to expand their growing finance team with a Finance Manager. This company is going through an exciting period of growth, so it is a great time to join now!
Your new role
Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for:

Managing 3-4 direct reports, and supporting their development and learning

Producing monthly management account packs

Managing and reconciling the Profit and Loss (P&L), Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements

Supplier Income reporting, month end accounting, forecasting, and budgeting

Provide analysis, insight and informative reporting to support and influence business decisions

Assisting with the budgeting and forecasting

Coordinate year-end audit requests and assist to prepare statutory accounts

Evaluating the success of ongoing trials and projects, and proposing recommendations

Ad hoc finance projects and analysis
In order to succeed, you will be an ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant with industry experience. Retail or manufacturing industry experience is desirable. You’ll need to be highly numerate with a strong analytical background, as well as an effective communicator with all levels of stakeholders.
