You will be working for a small but established manufacturing business in Port Talbot. The company produces a range of products used in many different industries. The company is forward-thinking and puts their employees first, offering a 4-day week followed by a 4.5-day week rotating bi-weekly. They are now looking for a proven Quality Manager to join their team.
Your new role
You will play a pivotal role in leading the Quality Team. Your main focus will be to ensure product and process quality, engaging with customers and suppliers, driving continuous improvement and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurring quality issues.
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Working alongside the management team, managing and maintaining the quality management system in line with ISO9001

Providing leadership to the quality team

Engaging with customers and suppliers to understand requirements and supporting the quality team to meet the standards set by customers

Driving continuous improvement in the quality team and throughout the business.

Managing and implementing business environmental policies and procedures

Managing waste
To succeed, you will need to have prior experience of leading a quality team and be at Quality Manager level. Strong candidates will be those who have experience with health, safety and environmental systems, although this is not essential.
