Your new role as a PLC SCADA Networks Engineer will involve programming, configuring, and managing PLC and SCADA systems, along with smart network configurations. You will be responsible for PLC programming for Allen Bradley and/or Siemens systems, SCADA programming and network interfacing, and the configuration and management of smart networks and IT systems. Additionally, you will integrate Ethernet and fibre network engineering. This Full time office/on-site role is based in Belfast and Carrickfergus.

What you’ll need to succeed is a degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, along with proficiency in PLC programming. Strong logical problem-solving skills and a full driver’s license are essential. Experience with SCADA programming, knowledge of Ethernet and fibre network engineering, hands-on experience with Allen Bradley and/or Siemens PLCs, a background in electrical engineering, experience in the power generation industry, and professional membership of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) are highly desirable.
