MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT – ULTRA-LUXURY LEISURE COMPANY – £60K + BONUS

Your new company

A high-end, ultra-luxury leisure company is looking to hire a Management Accountant to join their growing finance team. You\’ll play an important role, handling the management accounts & month-reporting for the business, as well as some commercial duties such as assisting with budgeting & forecasting and some analysis work. You\’ll ideally be an industry trained / experienced candidate with exposure to month-end duties & management accounts, open on sector.

Your new role

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you\’ll be responsible for:

1. Play a key role in the production and delivery of the monthly management accounts
2. Responsibility for the production and analysis of the balance sheet ensuring key monthly balance sheet reconciliations are maintained and analysed
3. Authorising payments via bank transfer
4. Preparation and presentation of funding requests to clients
5. Providing monthly analysis on financial performance for operations and capital expenditure
6. Review of accruals and prepayments
7. Playing a key role in system development and improvements
8. Implementation of company policies and procedures where required and application of best accounting practice and treatment
9. Ad hoc reporting

What you\’ll need to succeed

You\’ll be a Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with experience with management accounts & month-end duties. Open on sector background, however leisure background would be a bonus.
