Management Accountant, Salary £45,000+ County Durham Your new company Are you a hands-on Management Accountant looking to make a real impact in a dynamic, owner-managed business? On behalf of our client I am looking to recruit a proactive and detail-oriented individual to take ownership of the financial processes and help drive informed decision-making. Your new role As the on-site Management Accountant you will play a key role in the business, working closely with the Directors:- Producing monthly management accounts (MMA) with insightful commentary Preparing and presenting flash accounts to support strategic planning Managing VAT returns and ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations Overseeing weekly and monthly payroll processes Using Sage 50 & Excel for all accounts processing and reporting Supporting the owner with ad hoc financial analysis and business planning What you\’ll need to succeed Proven experience in a similar Management Accountant role Strong working knowledge of Sage 50 Excellent understanding of VAT, payroll, and management accounts preparation A self-starter with a hands-on approach and strong attention to detail Ideally part-qualified or qualified (AAT, ACCA, CIMA) – but it\’s really the experience counts!
