The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.
Reporting to the Finance Director, you take responsibility for the management accounts for multiple entities within the group, liaising with on-site finance contacts, working collaboratively to close off the month-end accounts and resolve any queries. Working to tight deadlines, you will report on the balance sheet, profit & loss and fixed assets for each company, as well as variance analysis, journals and various ad-hoc reports for the wider team. As this is a newly created role, it is crucial to develop strong relationships with both internal contact, finance colleagues and external contacts/suppliers etc. Strong and robust reporting using Excel is an essential part of the position utilising integrated systems.
What you’ll need to succeed
You will have a steady and current track record as a management accountant demonstrating your ability to hit the ground running in the month-end routines. Strong Excel and IT skills are required along with a personable and team-orientated approach in order to develop strong working relationships. You are likely to have been studying for your professional qualifications (ACCA/CIMA). However, management accounts experience is essential for this position.
