This is an opportunity to join a leading FMCG manufacturer for their site in Wakefield. They are seeking an apprentice-trained and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their established team, working panama-style shifts (days & nights) on their site in Wakefield., * Planned maintenance inspections, reviewing frequencies and parts used.

Recommend improvements to maintenance schedules; carry out safety checks on equipment in line with legislation and best practice.

Overhaul and repair of plant; continually monitor plant conditions and report defects.

Complete stores requisitions for parts and contract services.

Perform RCA in depth for breakdowns and process failure.

Help generate and maintain compliance with SOPs/ Risk Assessments.

Carry out work in a standardised way.

Report plant performance using appropriate company systems and ensure action on/communication of non-conformance issues.

Ensure operational key information is effectively communicated to colleagues and other shift teams; complete any relevant documentation on time and in full and support site services as required.

Apprentice trained-level 3 or above.

Have extensive experience of maintaining a live manufacturing plant post apprenticeship.

Ideally, food manufacturing sector experience.

Have the correct right to work in the UK without expiry.

Have experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in a production environment in the UK.
