We are looking for a passionate and dedicated teacher to join their team on a Full time basis as a KS2 classroom teacher. In this role, you will inspire a love for teaching and bring the enthusiasm and energy needed to make a positive impact on children’s lives.
About your role as a KS2 Classroom Teacher
You will have excellent knowledge of the curriculum. Some of your duties will include:
Curriculum Implementation: Deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the national curriculum, ensuring that all subject areas are covered effectively.
Student Assessment: Regularly assess students’ progress through formative and summative assessments, providing feedback and reports to support their learning journey.
Classroom Management: Maintain a well-organised and disciplined classroom environment that fosters respect, cooperation, and a positive attitude towards learning.
Differentiation: Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs and abilities of all students, including those with special educational needs.
Parental Communication: Establish and maintain strong communication with parents and guardians, sharing updates on student progress, and addressing any concerns.
Professional Development: Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with the latest teaching practices, educational technologies, and curriculum changes.
Extracurricular Involvement: Participate in and contribute to school activities and events outside of regular teaching duties, such as clubs, sports, and school trips.
You will need to hold a Qualified Teacher Status and the right to work in the UK
Experience working within a primary classroom, especially within KS2
Good behaviour management and organisational skills
You must hold a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a DBS through Hays
