Your new role
As a Floating Support Worker, you\’ll provide flexible support across multiple locations, including Bath, Bristol (potentially Mendip and Gloucestershire). You\’ll work with clients facing homelessness, trauma, mental ill-health, substance misuse, and other challenges.
Main Responsibilities:
– Deliver person-centred support and enabling services
– Conduct needs and risk assessments
– Maintain accurate client records
– Support housing management, including rent arrears and move-on pathways
– Liaise with external agencies and promote service user involvement
– Participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota
– Work flexibly, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
What you\’ll need to succeed
– Proven experience supporting individuals with complex needs and/or challenging behaviours
– Strong understanding of homelessness, social exclusion, and trauma-informed approaches
– Excellent communication and IT skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Full UK driving license and access to a car
