A diversified natural resources group is looking for a Finance Manager to take ownership of the Accounting team.
Your new company
Working in the UK Head office of a US-owned global business, this company has a long history of success as well as a very robust business model and balance sheet. They are looking to hire a Finance Manager to lead the Reporting team for the EMEA region.
Your new role
The role is a broad position, focused on monthly and statutory reporting for the EMEA region but also involves interaction with the global teams. The position will center around owning financial processes related to statutory and technical processes in relation to JVs, group work, and SOX compliance.
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Timely and accurate production of monthly corporate reporting
- Working with Big auditors
- Research and apply accounting policy
- Management of a team of 4
- EMEA reporting
- SOX compliance
- Ongoing analytical and project work
What you’ll need to succeed
You will ideally come from a large business or a large-scale business reporting to an international parent. It would be ideal if you are a qualified accountant from either ACA / ACCA / CIMA backgrounds. The role would suit professionals with experience of systems like SAP and also working in accordance with SOX.
