Finance Director, Teesside, salary circa £85,000
Your new company
I am delighted to be working with this innovative, fast-paced, fast-growing company who are really beginning to make an impact across the Teesside & Co Durham markets.
Working for the main UK subsidiary of an “overseas giant”, you will have responsibility for all aspects of financial control of the Teesside site whilst mentoring and growing the current, highly thought of finance team.
This is truly a one-off opportunity to join a one-off business!
Your new role
- Monitor, manage & report on financial performance
- Closely partner with the operational “heads of” across the site
- Month-end reporting to include; management accounts, cash flows, MI and KPIs
- Statutory accounts
- Forecasting
- Budgeting
- Management of the various bank accounts
- Improve current controls, procedures and policies
- In time, select, prepare and implement a new ERP system
- Manage, train and mentor a growing finance team
What you’ll need to succeed
- Qualified Accountant with at least 5 years post-qual experience at a senior level
- Sound knowledge of UK GAAP and ideally US GAAP
- Experience of working within a project-based environment
- ERP implementation experience
- Both management & building of a finance team
