A Sustainability startup based in Leicester, providing comprehensive Corporate Social Responsibility consultancy services to businesses in many industries across the globe, helping them achieve their environmental, social and governance goals.
Specialising in supporting companies with their EcoVadis submissions, offering support in related areas such as CDP reporting and greenhouse gas calculations, along with developing tailored sustainability strategies. The aim is to guide organisations through the complexities of sustainability frameworks, to enable them to best represent their sustainability efforts.
Your new role
As an ESG Consultant, you will primarily be responsible for guiding businesses through their EcoVadis assessments. You will review existing policies and processes, create action plans and help clients achieve their best possible EcoVadis scores. As part of this work, you will create reports, develop training documents and guide clients through submissions of EcoVadis questionnaires.
Additionally, you will be involved in further ESG related tasks such as CDP reporting, GHG calculations and general sustainability strategy work as required by clients.
In a growing business environment, you will also take a hands-on role across various areas, including managing website content, generating leads, developing internal processes and systems for improved efficiency. Your contributions will help shape the operations and enhance the service offerings.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Create Action Plans for Clients: Collaborate with clients to develop tailored action plans that align with their ESG objectives and EcoVadis requirements.

Develop Training Presentations and Reports: Design training presentations and reports to meet the specific needs of different clients.

Guide Clients Through EcoVadis Submissions: Assisting with their assessments to help them understand the methodology and achieve the best score possible.

Manage Social Media Channels & Website: Oversee the company’s social media accounts and website, regularly update them with new content, including initiatives and case studies.

Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities by researching potential clients and engaging with them through various communication channels.

Proofread and Review Documents: Ensure that all client deliverables, internal reports, training materials are well-written, accurate and aligned with company standards before submission.
What you’ll need to succeed

Qualifications in Sustainability, Business, or a related field.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in creating professional documents using Microsoft Office

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

An understanding of ESG assessments is preferred.

A background in ISO consultancy is also preferred.
