Multi-academy Trust based in Greater Manchester with exciting plans for growth over the next 5 years.

As Deputy CFO, you will be working in a key role, helping to develop the Financial Governance of the Trust and managing the Central Finance function. You will be supporting the CFOO with duties including production of management accounts, cashflow forecasts and capital project and balance, and liaising with the Executive Leadership Team. This is a hybrid role with travel to schools around once a week - please note full UK driving licence and access to a car is needed. Occasional early evenings will be required to attend onsite Governor's meetings.

You will be a fully qualified Accountant (CIPFA/ACA/CIMA/ACCA Level) with a dynamic personality, can do attitude and recent experience in a similar role. You will have extensive experience producing Management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, liaising with external Auditors and collaborating with Executive leadership teams in an educational environment. A strong technical skillset around Statutory Accounts and Process Improvements is essential, along with the ability to be hands-on and a team player, and motivated by striving to enhance young people's educational success. This role would be suited to candidates with a mix of industry and public sector backgrounds.

The opportunity to work alongside an experienced CFOO and a fantastic team, where your skill set within Senior Finance can really have an impact at an exciting time for the Trust. The working pattern can vary from week to week but offers fantastic hybrid working within a collaborative office environment and travel to Trust schools around once per week. Salary up to £75k with fantastic benefits.
