Computing Teacher Job - Bolton Secondary School

• Teaching ICT/Computing at KS3 & KS4

We are working in partnership with an 11-16 secondary school in Bolton who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Computing Teacher to join their team for the new academic year. This is a full-time and long-term job. There is a temporary to permanent opportunity for the right candidate. Due to this being a long-term job, full teaching responsibilities will be required, including planning and marking.

Job Description

Delivering engaging and creative Computing lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.

Planning and preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments.

Monitoring student progress and providing feedback.

Contributing to the development of the department’s curriculum.

Participating in extracurricular activities and school trips.

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ECT’s welcome to apply.

Recent experience teaching ICT at secondary school level.

Strong behaviour/classroom management.

Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members
