ResponsibilitiesAs Co-Headteacher, you will:

  • Lead and manage the school in partnership with the Co-Headteacher, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance educational outcomes and student well-being.

  • Foster a positive school culture that promotes inclusivity, respect, and collaboration.

  • Oversee the professional development of staff, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their best.

  • Engage with parents, carers, and the wider community to build strong, supportive relationships.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, regulations, and safeguarding procedures.

RequirementsWe are looking for a candidate who

  • Holds a qualified teacher status (QTS) and has substantial experience in a leadership role within an SEN setting.

  • Demonstrates strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.

  • Has a deep understanding of SEN best practices and a commitment to inclusive education.

  • Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.

  • Is resilient, adaptable, and solution-focused, able to navigate challenges with a positive attitude.
