Our high-profile client, operating in the utilities sector, is currently seeking a Project Manager to join their team. They have a strong pipeline of work and offer excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. This is a permanent position which will involve a mixture of office-based (Derby) and site-based work.
Your new role
As Project Manager, you will be overseeing the successful delivery of schemes across the Midlands area and be responsible for, but not limited to:

Managing and coordinating direct labour and subcontractors on multi-site projects

Conducting site visits and inspection to ensure compliance with safety regulations and specifications

Providing regular project updates and reports to senior management

Ensuring alignment with project goals and industry standards

Maintaining high standards of health and safety on site at all times

Collaborating and liaising with internal and external stakeholders

Ensuring schemes are delivered safely on time, within budget and to expected quality.

Experience of delivering civil works from inception through to completion in the utilities industry

Knowledge of CDM regulations

Experience in procurement and post-contract management
