Interim Category Manager

Immediate Start

Duration: 3-6 months

Location: Central London

Daily rate: £300 – £350 per day

As the Procurement Category Manager for Direct and Digital Marketing, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of marketing services and materials. You will work closely with the marketing team to ensure that all procurement activities support our marketing strategies and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for direct and digital marketing categories.

  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to understand their needs and ensure procurement activities align with marketing goals.

  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, ensuring they meet our quality and ethical standards.

  • Monitor and manage supplier performance, addressing any issues that arise.

  • Analyse market trends and pricing to ensure cost-effective procurement.

  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and supplier agreements.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and best practices.

  • Proven experience in procurement, with a focus on direct and digital marketing categories.

  • Strong understanding of procurement principles and best practices.

  • Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.

  • The ability to analyse data and make informed procurement decisions.

  • Proficiency in using procurement software and tools.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A passion for the charity sector and a commitment to our mission.
