Due to continued growth and contract awards, Totalis Solutions are seeking to appoint an M&E Buyer. This position would be an excellent opportunity for candidates with Mechanical/ Electrical knowledge or trade background and purchasing experience. The M&E Buyer will be responsible for sourcing and procuring materials, equipment, and services needed for Totalis\’ projects. The role focuses on cost efficiency, supplier quality, and timely delivery while ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards. Procurement and Supply Chain Management Source, negotiate, and secure the best prices and terms for M&E materials and services. Develop and maintain a database of reliable suppliers with proven quality and performance records. Monitor supplier performance and resolve delivery or quality issues promptly. Cost Management Conduct market analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities. Manage procurement costs to adhere to project budgets. Provide regular reports on procurement performance, identifying areas for improvement. Material and Equipment Procurement Procure mechanical and electrical components and equipment that meet technical specifications. Work with project managers and engineers to forecast material needs and ensure on-time delivery. Coordinate with suppliers to expedite deliveries when needed. Compliance and Documentation Ensure all purchases comply with health and safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies. Maintain accurate records of purchases, supplier agreements, and delivery schedules. Support audits and prepare procurement documentation for management reviews. Stakeholder Collaboration Collaborate with internal teams to understand material requirements and technical needs. Assist in tender processes by providing accurate cost estimates and supplier options. Act as a point of contact for suppliers and internal teams to address queries and resolve disputes. Skills and Qualifications: Ideal opportunity for candidates with purchasing or trade experience in the electrical or mechanical fields looking to develop their career.
