Your new organisation is a long-established humanitarian and environmental charity seeking a qualified and proactive Financial Controller to join its small, dedicated finance team.

Your new role involves reporting to the Finance Director and playing a key role in strengthening financial processes, improving reporting, and supporting senior leadership with timely, accurate management information.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Financial support for operational teams
  • Process and controls improvement across the finance function
  • Balance sheet reconciliations and core accounting duties
  • Assisting with management accounts and statutory accounts for multiple entities
  • Preparing statutory returns (HMRC, Charity Commission, etc.)
  • Manage one member of staff
