You will be joining a global biopharmaceutical organisation with a strong presence across oncology, rare diseases, and neuroscience, and a well-established footprint in GMP manufacturing. As an IT & Automation Manager, you will take ownership of site-wide IT and automation systems within a manufacturing environment. Acting as a key link between engineering, operations, and global IT teams, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring business continuity while driving system improvements and digital initiatives. You will be responsible for managing projects, supporting manufacturing systems (e.g. MES, LIMS, automation), and ensuring all systems operate in line with GMP and data integrity requirements. This is a highly visible position with strong interaction with site leadership and cross-functional teams.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Experience within manufacturing, pharma, or highly regulated environments
  • A background in automation, manufacturing systems, or site IT
  • Knowledge of GMP / GxP environments and regulated systems
  • Exposure to systems such as MES, LIMS, SCADA, PLC, or process control (advantageous)
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work across engineering, IT, and operations
  • Experience managing projects, system improvements, or site-based technical initiatives
