They have a position available for a Medical Publications and Communications Manager, CMPP certified, to join their team for a 3-month initial contract within their Oncology arena.

Your new role: As the Global Medical Publications and Communications Manager - Oncology, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the publication strategy and scientific communication plans for assigned rare disease products and indications across the product life cycle (from R&D to post-marketing). You will optimise the reach, engagement, and impact of study results, internally and externally, through sophisticated publication packages in line with the therapeutic area objectives and compliance considerations. You will bring scientific and medical research results to the scientific community, healthcare professionals, patients, and their caregivers with integrity and accuracy in a transparent, efficient, effective, and timely manner.
What you'll need to succeed: In order to apply for the Medical Publications and Communication Manager role, you must possess:
- CMPP certification
- A scientific degree, PhD preferred
- Demonstrated experience of publications and medical communications management in a pharmaceutical company
- Proven experience in publication planning and project management, coordinating the production and delivery of multiple documents, including experience with Datavision
- Excellent knowledge of industry regulations and ethical standards related to publications such as Good Publication Practice (GPP) and International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE)
- Proven experience of scientific medical writing in a business environment
- Experience of developing Scientific Communication Platforms
- Oncology therapy knowledge
