You will join a growing serious injury team handling a low-volume, high-value caseload of complex catastrophic injury matters, with a particular focus on traumatic brain injury claims. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with clients and their families, managing cases that have a significant impact on their lives while developing your expertise in this highly specialised area of law.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a caseload of complex serious injury claims, particularly traumatic brain injury matters.
  • Running high-value multi-track litigation from inception through to settlement or trial.
  • Advising clients and their families throughout the claims process.
  • Conducting client visits, including home and hospital visits where required.
  • Working alongside medical experts, case managers and rehabilitation providers.
  • Assisting in the continued growth and development of the firm's specialist practice.
  • Building relationships with professional contacts and supporting the firm's reputation within the serious injury sector.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with Civil Litigation practice rights.
  • Approximately 7+ years' PQE, although experienced candidates outside this range will also be considered.
  • Proven experience handling high-value serious injury claims.
  • Experience dealing with complex causation issues.
  • Excellent client care and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and case management abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a specialist team.
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach when supporting clients who have suffered life-changing injuries.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for occasional client visits.
