Your new company

Our client is a leading national law firm with a strong presence in the insurance sector.

Due to continued growth, the firm is seeking an experienced RTA Solicitor to join its Manchester-based team.

This is an excellent opportunity to handle a varied portfolio of defendant motor claims within a highly regarded and supportive environment.

Your new role

You will manage a caseload of defendant motor and road traffic accident claims, ranging from fast-track matters through to more complex litigated files.

Working as part of an established insurance team, you will have exposure to high-quality work and the opportunity to develop your technical expertise further.

Key responsibilities

Managing a litigated caseload of defendant RTA claims from inception through to resolution.

Drafting pleadings, witness statements and court documents.

Advising insurer clients on liability, quantum and litigation strategy.

Negotiating settlements and attending hearings where required.

Working closely with colleagues on more complex and high-value matters.

Supporting business development initiatives and client relationships.

What you'll need to succeed

Qualified Solicitor with at least 3 years' PQE.

Previous experience handling litigated RTA or motor claims.

Strong knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules.

Ability to manage a caseload independently.

Excellent communication and client management skills.

Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to litigation.
