They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Group Litigation Solicitor to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in claimant litigation, with a focus on group actions. Your new role
- Lead and manage group litigation cases, including consumer law, environmental/product liability, and international claims.
- Develop and scope potential new group/representative/collective actions.
- Work closely with external solicitors and counsel on innovative legal actions.
- Handle complex legal issues, including service out of jurisdiction, foreign applicable law, and quantum.
- Liaise with litigation funders, third-party marketing consultants, and NGOs.
- Negotiate settlements and draft complex settlement agreements.
- Represent clients in high-profile cases, ensuring their interests are effectively advocated.
What you'll need to succeed
- Ideally between 1-3 PQE (guidelines only).
- Strong academic background, ideally with experience at a leading law firm working on class actions.
- Extensive experience in group litigation, particularly in consumer law, environmental/product liability, and international claims.
